Our Story of Divine Purpose
Sky Farm Center is the life’s work of Mary Regina Hudak and Joan Tonyan, two former Catholic nuns who felt called to heal others by aligning mind, body and spiritual health. Originally founded in Berkley, California in 1981, Sky Farm Center has a rich legacy that blends deep spirituality and traditional healing with science-based complementary modalities.
Joan, a certified Gestalt therapist, brought a grounding in psychology and self-awareness that complemented her study of Radionic Frequency Healing. Mary, trained in the Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® Method, added a body-centered dimension to the practice. As Sky Farm’s holistic health offerings expanded, clients began asking for a place to slow down and reconnect more deeply. After thoughtful reflection and prayer, in 1989 Joan and Mary made the decision to move north to build a ten-acre retreat property in Husum, Washington.
For over a decade, guests came to their sanctuary from across the country to rest, reflect and heal — sharing meals from the organic gardens, enjoying lush forest and tapping into the restorative energy of Sky Farm Center’s health and wellness practitioners. And then The Spirit led them to the red rocks of Sedona…
From Washington State to the Red
Rock Vortexes of Sedona, Arizona
After 10+ years in Husum, Joan and Mary felt another shift calling them forward. A visit to Sedona, Arizona, changed everything. The red rocks, the light, and the energy of the land all resonated on a level they couldn’t ignore. They felt the healing frequency vortexes of Sedona would naturally amplify their radionics work, creating a space where they could continue to grow. In 2001, they moved to Sedona, where Sky Farm would eventually find its forever home at the base of Coffee Pot Mountain.
Kath Gilliam joined Joan and Mary in 2011 and still serves in her important role as the business manager, keeping us all sane and organized!
Mary Regina Hudak sadly passed away in 2021 at the age of 91. Her passing continues to be deeply felt by the Sky Farm team, but we remember her daily.
In September 2023, Joan reconnected with Teri Bays (who she met in 2001), a connection that was full of divine energy. After a few soulful conversations, Teri began apprenticing under Joan to learn her radionics and frequency alignment methods.
Today, Teri is the lead wellness practitioner at Sky Farm. As a certified hypnotherapist/NLP practitioner and spiritual counselor, Teri blends her expertise in these areas with voice analysis and aromatherapy.

Joan Tonyan, Founder & Radionics Consultant
Joan Catherine Tonyan is a Master Practitioner of Radionics with more than four decades of experience in energy-based healing.
Introduced to the field in 1982 by Dr. Gayle Pierce, she later studied with renowned pioneers including David Kelley.
A former Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet and a trained Gestalt therapist, Joan’s work unites her deep, open-minded spirituality with the science of psychology and metaphysical ideas.
Joan’s invaluable leadership ensures that Sky Farm Center’s legacy of integrity, inclusivity, and innovation in the field of frequency healing continues to thrive.
Teri Bays, lead wellness practitioner
If you call into or email Sky Farm, it’s likely you’ll speak to Teri! Teri Bays is a dedicated spiritual practitioner and lifelong student of consciousness whose work bridges science, energy, and the art of human transformation.
She has been apprenticing under Joan Tonyan, founder of Sky Farm Center, since October 2023, continuing the Center’s legacy of integrative frequency-based wellness.
Teri’s background includes advanced study in metaphysics, parapsychology, hypnotherapy, conscious living and dying, Reiki, and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). Each discipline aligns naturally with the principles of Radionics and Radiesthesia.
Her approach blends intuitive insight with practical understanding, helping clients explore the energetic and emotional dimensions of well-being with clarity and compassion.
In addition to her healing work, Teri is a classically trained vocalist and performer. Her artistry and sensitivity to vibration and sound enrich her work in energy awareness, deepening her connection to the subtle harmonics that influence human experience.
Kath Gilliam, Business Manager
Kath Gilliam joined Sky Farm Center in 2011, bringing more than four decades of business and management experience to the organization.
Her career spans senior leadership roles in the coal and construction industries, where she developed extensive expertise in operations, finance, and organizational strategy.
Before joining Sky Farm, Kath worked alongside Helen Palmer, a leading voice in Enneagram studies, helping expand Helen’s teachings to global online audiences. Introduced to Helen through Joan Tonyan and the late Mary Hudak, Kath has since combined her business acumen with a deep appreciation for human development and self-awareness.
As Business Manager, she oversees all financial, accounting, and operational aspects of Sky Farm Center with precision, integrity, and care.
